Football: Graduated in 2007; Four-year letter-winner for the football team from 2003-2007; Three-time All Mid-American Conference First-Team Selection (2004, 2005, and 2006); Named Third-Team All-American by the Associated Press in 2004; Earned Academic All-MAC honors in 2004, 2005, and 2006 while earning Co-SIDA Academic All-District Second-Team in 2005 and 2006; Selected as Scholar-Athlete of the Week on Oct. 21, 2004; Runner-up for the Lou Groza Award in 2004 as a sophomore; this award is given annually to the top placekicker in the NCAA Division I ranks, he was also on the Groza Watch List his other three years; Named Player of the Week four times during his career; Finished his college career as the second-most prolific kicker in MAC history with 69 career field goals and the fourth-best field-goal percentage at .795 (69-of 87); Was the starting placekicker in all 46 games during his career and also handled the starting punting duties for two seasons; Named one of four collegiate kickers to participate in the State Farm College Football All-Star Challenge after his senior year winning the long-kick championship title; Appears over 25 times in the EMU all-time record books, holding the top spot in field goals in a season (21 in 2004), field goals made in a career (69), and career scoring (299).
