Added postgraduate degrees in 1976 and 1977...Was a standout men's basketball player who earned four letters for EMU from 1968-69 to 1971-72...His 970 career rebounds rank second in EMU basketball history, and his 1,269 points is 13th best all time...His 557 career field goals rank 11th in EMU history...Played on four teams that qualified for national tournaments ...The 1970-71 EMU team made it all the way to the finals of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) national tournament...The 1971-72 team went to the final four of the NCAA College-Division Tournament...One of only two EMU players to grab more than 900 rebounds and score more than 1,000 points (Kennedy McIntosh is the other player)...Played in 118 out of a possible 122 games during his career...Averaged 15 points a game in tournament play...Was an NAIA second-team All-District 23 selection as well as an NAIA honorable mention All-America pick...Currently is an administrator in the Southfield Public Schools.
